[X] Awesome graphics [X] nice font [X] at least one scroller (bonus: double scrollers) [X] really nice tune What a novel idea to dedicate one scroller to one, and the other scroller to the other group, that’s such a great idea! And it shortens the final binary, thus making it load faster, where the traditional way was to first link the cracking, and then the importing intro on top, thus making the final binary larger and therefore slower to load… Deek and Scrap did a number on this one. What a cool intro, completely forgot about it. Deek is one… Read more »

I would love to talk to MANY of them, meet in person, have a pint and see their personality to understand their way of composing.

Yes, Deek is indeed one of the best musicians on the C64! We had a lot of outstanding musicians in Genesis Project (Deek, JO, HJE)! That made it really hard for me to pick a tune for a Demopart, because they were all great! πŸ˜‰ Nice, that you like the Intro. In terms of coding it is nothing special (at least, I improved a bit with my later demos (Violator 1+2)) πŸ˜‰

It doesn’t take fancy code to make a great intro; In this case, you designed it so well that it’s sublime. By the by, how did you find us in our little *nook* in *time* here?

Always a pleasure seeing old legends behind the original intros pop up once in a while for a quick comment. πŸ™‚
As for other intros… Lots of stuph on to-do list, definately.

Fairly typical c64 intro, but made better by the nice music.

Great tune by DEEK! Good logos. Always digged the 2 different speed scrollers =).

Yeah Deek is awesome. I did a study of his music, and he strikes me as a deeply emotional, intellectually complex character, right up there with Drax, in stark contrast to today’s world where almost everyone is superficial, shallow and fake.

Deek, Link, Diflex, Vibrants (JCH, Drax, Laxity, J.O…), F.A.M.E., Rock, Future Freak, Sonic Graffity, Prosonix, 20CC (FP, EvS), MoN (Tel, CD, GT…) to just name only a FEW (and I surely DID forgot some dudez I loved back and still do love nowadays) were/are very, very talented.
And not talking here about Sirs like M.Galway, R.Hubbard, J.Dunn, A.Brimble, B.Daglish…
But you know, Annatar, today there are good musicians as well. Perheps less “research-attituded” but still. Certainly, those back are classics.

For sure, there are many talented musicians, I was referring to his personality which can be gleamed in his music and the blatant fakery of the majority of people today in general, on the global scale, out of control… What do I mean by that? For example, I was once with a girl, perfect face, perfect body, perfect tits, perfect ass, but the moment I put my hand on her naked ass and tits I could feel that they were fake, goodness knows I fondled enough ass and tits to be able to tell right away. When I confronted her… Read more »

At least you had a nice chat with that girl =). And you were honest! I understand what you mean. And I think you are not alone to see and feel like thatt. But, no one forces you to follow them, to spend your time with them. Unless you focus on it or like it. Ppl are not satisfied since the very beginning. Most often they have to play the roles. Play in front of parents to be loved, in front of their collegues just to fell/be accepted, often at work to earn a living, in social media to earn… Read more »
