PARADOX did a trainer i think. And it’s a shame if you did have a PSP intro that we didn’t speak… adding it is SO simple. Just pull the LBA address for boot.bin, put your executable right over the top of it and then make it boot eboot.bin. That would work with every game i think.. a tool could have been extremely simple to add crack exec to iso to make it not affect races. For one game we had a small loader that launched then booted the game up infact, as a firmware fix. It was an unpacked ISO… Read more »
Anyone have the link to the PSP intro that was posted here a few years ago?
I have seen a couple of trainer menus on PSP via the crappy emulator but nothing good.

I did a PSP intro and at the time it seemed no groups were able to attach it to their releases, as I am not much of a reverse engineer when it comes to consoles I dropped the idea of getting my intros used.
Those venom intros came at an expense… buying 20 different flash carts, and guess the errors without a debugger is not something i do again, pure HELL.

This was put on 2 shovelware games as a test but as suspected came back with too many compatibility concerns which is kinda a problem when games didn’t even require cracks, so no excuse to stop them working with modification. It was expected since LEGACY and some others had already made trainers which had the same concerns and despite releasing many games they never actually put intros onto them, this was the first released game with an intro on by default (VENOMs later ones worked on nearly every card in use at the time). But if LGC had kinda forced… Read more »

Good one. Reminds me a Skid Row’s famous one… Cheers for the info Cewlout.
Btw.. music is really a problem on NDS since Nintendo included two CPUs (ARM7 and ARM9). Where access to sound registers are only granted to ARM7. It works though (as you can see on other intros) but it is *REALLY* a major hack. Intros made by Triforce etc.. are made in C using existing MOD replay libs and incorporated in a hardcore way into the original ROM. Well done, but hardcore 🙂 Also a big Problem on NDS are the different flashcards which are patching Nintendo routines on the fly within the ROM (well actually NDS files are no ROMS,… Read more »

This is actually Illusion&x from Paradox Console
nice style, music missing!
Inspired by the old Skid Row intro but lacks the class of the original. I like the scroller font though.
Reminds me very much of Dan’s Skid Row intro, this would have been much cooler with a 3D starfield and a chip tune.
Sinus scroller \o/ Kudos for that! Needs a music for sure. The code was done by Illusion. I this the same Amiga guy Illusion?
big thumb up for trying to make an intro on a platform that doesn’t see many. little thumb down for making one that is so plain :/
sad that there is no music . anyway a nice one with one of my fav fonts 🙂
WOW !I was unaware thad XPA did a cracktro. Because it is for a shitty shovelware game.
