WoT had some ex-TSL (The Silents) members like Sintax and Crazybyte. (both Belgian) I am pretty sure they were behind this release which would explain the source of the tune. The ascii-style is close to Metalbasher (Mb) or Rotox (Rtx) – very early stuff indeed. The letter “i” is the give-away. Pretty sure that you could get confirmation with some fancy and extensive Google-work.
Random fact: Crazyybyte later changed handle to Purple Haze and joined GOD (Global OverDose) where he did 100+ trainers…
Hey TCB, nice facts about Crazybyte – I knew him when he was in TSL (from the H/P scene rather than Amiga, at first!) but I didn’t realise he was Purple Haze/GOD too 🙂
It wasn’t really ‘public knowledge’ back then… The three ‘founders’ of GOD (PH / Freud and myself) all had a H/P-background with PH being the more ‘technical’ hacker (System 75 PBX / Meridian VMX / Bluebox) and the others the “social engineering” hackers (Yes, I ‘voice-hacked’ calling cards :)). It also explained why we were able to dial out when most of Europe was ‘grounded’. We survived off a couple of VMX’s for over 2 years with excellent quality lines. Those were the days 🙂
Nice writer and Ascii. Who made the tune? And does anyone know who made the Ascii logo as there’s no tag? I am not sure, one of the original old school Ascii artists for sure though.
That dot writer is a winner for sure.
Simple but sweet.

I was about to say the logo looks like it went outta MB keys… RTX is more in “opened, flying letters”.

Thanx for sharing. Nice to know MOAR tech-stories about it. Due to some reasons I did not put my hand on H/P techno that period.
I was looking for my “past” and i found this 3rd of 4 years ago, but talking about me more than 20 years later my works! 🙂
Metalbasher writing…
Nice. Short, but nice…

Never mind, module by Timewalker of Silents. Never heard of him before though.
I first read.. “compiled and cracked..” 😀 heh. Anyway, a nice writer.
Nicely executed ascii`tro.
