A nostalgic thumbs up for this – when all you needed was a starfield + a modulo’ed logo 🙂

Post office box 10 in Amay also used to be the address of PaRaDoX (listed for example in their intro on Panza kick boxing)… I thought PaRaDoX and Skid Row were competitors back then? Is that still true today?

You are correct, I thought it’s the Amay. but it’s the Mousecron one. Both are in Belgium, that’s why. My memory always sucked, you know that better than anyone on this planet.

You’re yanking my chain, aren’t you? Subzero and I have been corresponding on and off via this website / forum for years now. And before that, I knew about Subzero, Selim and Rudi from their Skid Row fame.

I didn’t know he was in Vision Factory, because I know SSR from Skid Row. In fact, the link between WoW, VF, SR, Crack inc.,Dynamix, and Ministry is a mystery to me, and one I’d gladly know more about, since such things fascinate me.

well , my first group was oks import division(handle wookie), together with metallica, and during wow and vf times i havent used any handle , and if i used one, it was “wookie”, for example,, one of the first releases from skidrow was supplied by wookie, then rudi and selim joined, they used same distributor as i did , and since WookieSelimRudi WSR sounded stoopid, i found a new handle which was Subzero, we formed SSR, period!. as for Crack inc, was founded by me and Brainwalker, and as for Dynamix, which was founded by myself, and Ministry together with… Read more »

…And then IBM and Nomad went on to form Crystal?

Skid Row had a brand name that was known world wide. Why was it abandoned, and why were Crack Inc., then Dynamix then Ministry formed, why couldn’t you all stick with one group (brand)?

Anyway, this was cool info to finally find out. Thanks for that bud!

nahw, that was after csl…. skidrow had internal problems. i sure do not post overhere!. crack inc and dynamix was for fun. and about ministry, i thought to be in a gang with those big guys would be kewl, and they thinked the same anyhow… it was sure a pleasure to work with them together… too bad amiga died shortly after ministry… i remember the last “inside original” i have had, Turrican 3, and while Nomad wrote a warper for it, some others have released it, so i wasnt the only one with this inside game 🙂 lol… a couple… Read more »

Kidding Annatar, most of the stuff I we got here in Australia was either Quartex (early stuff) and later stuff was Skidrow, so they do travel far and wide 🙂

That raises more questions that it answers! How did you guys get the warez to “down under”, did Blue boxes work? Some other method? Was the warez scene big?

Do you guys use 220V, 50 Hz? Is the wall plug the same as in Germany (“DIN”)?

Post scriptum: three pronged plug, flat terminals at an angle… AS/NZS 3112.
