This is what one would call a decent intro / trainer menu.
It was a pleasure using this menu back then and I still really love seeing it now. Thanks M9 and Sim! Nice logo by Noize and Wayne really built a great menu around it. The plasma looks better on the actual GBA screen but still good here. (And I think I ripped the font for this one but can’t remember where from.)

The “plasma” thing looked better on the real GBA tiny lcd screen for sure, it looks quite ugly here.
Nice logo, except the palette forced me to use brown background – so I think the garish colourscheme plasma was to offset this 🙂
I think this palette is very original and this makes the intro more fresh comparint to the others back then. And the plasma is a trick, aint’int ;)..
The plasma is a 16-colour flower (really!) just being stretched with Y-scroll while I change the palette each line… I tried all sorts of patterns before this, but ended up using a flower to annoy Rotox who said it would look gay.
He was right 🙂
I like the pattern => looks like an Amiga plasma =). BTW. Plasma and “copper” bar were not too easy to have them run smoothly, ain’ it. They were, to reach the Amiga level, quite CPU consuming? … Hahaha, LOL@Rtx…
