I like the scroller, even if it’s a bit unreadable at times.

An unreadable scroller, hideous logo and massively irritating tune. The starfield is um smooth? 🙂

It has always fascinated me to stumble across a Commodore64 tune on other platforms. How did they do it?
The tune is an Amiga arrangement of one of the C=64 tunes which were part of the 711’s “intro designer III”: https://csdb.dk/release/?id=21021. The original tune is called “Intro Designer 3 (tune 6)”, https://csdb.dk/sid/?id=2553 by Chris Ammermüller. I don’t find it irritating as it brings back a lot of fond memories of that program.
I agree with the rest of your assesment, however.

Don’t you mean original is Jeroen Tel’s tune Noisy Pillars from 1987?

I remember the tune from Future Composer where it featured as demo song.

No, I mean it’s from 711’s “Intro Designer III”. I recognized it right away and then I went to verify by downloading it and playing it in “SIDPLAY”. Maybe the tune in the “Intro Designer III” is a remix of Jeroen Tel’s tune, I wouldn’t know. Now that I’m listening to “Noisy Pillars” from Jeroen Tel it is the same melody. I don’t know what to think.

It’s a 1989 remake of a 1987 tune. I trust STIL.
