The Shadowlord from TIC was one of the worlds best Amiga crackers. TIC (The Inner Circle) used to act as a internal sub-group to many larger cracking groups. Such as ACU (Australian Crackers Unitied), Paradox, Nemesis and even Quartex.

On a related note – why did so many crackers “group up”? I mean, there was TIC, HQC, even EFA (although apart from Algorithm I wouldn’t put them in the same league!), all cracker-collectives if you like…are there others I’m forgetting?

I guess it mainly had to do with no real capacity to supply titles from their own groups (as the group members were usually only demo coders) and also the preference to instead work with the large “name-brands” groups of the scene.

One of my all time favs and a great game. In ’89 i had no clue that ‘Shadowlord/TIC’ (ACE) was one of the best Reversers worldwide. He earn lots of respect from our german and french leaders. Can someone tell me more about him?
