Very nice work on this!
Love it, considering how old it is, its aged VERY well indeed. It has a style all of its own, and I love that the coder refrained from making the scroller constantly rotate as well, using that effect sparingly so we can appreciate it, but actually still read it!
Would have preferred the blue of the font to look a little less c64, but other than that, its perfection, and still looks great today.
Compare this to the Ackerlight intro with the keyboard, and its light years apart in quality.
ohhh thanks for converting this . one of the best intros from this time and a lot of memories for me. i saw this back in the days before the offical release and i watched this smooth one for hours. the first release of this bomb was really sure in 1988..
yep spiv, you mean the demo the ripping yarns http://kestra.exotica.org.uk/demo.php?id=2593 same code, but many musics to choose. in the cracktro with 12kb was only the alien syndrome music. and you are right, this one is sure in my top 10 of the best amiga cracktros (each of course for the time they were published) with paranoimia (Shadow of the Beast), world of wonders (dugger), megaforce (strike force harrier), blizzard (crystal hammer), m.a.d. (jumping jack son), skid row (lemmings + james pond 2), vision factory (shadowlands – with purple shades.mod), sunriders (incredible short) and crystal (nincrystal on agony)… of course my… Read more »

Thanks M9 for converting one of the best cracktros ever!!!! (only WoW’s Dugger intro and few others are on the same level).. This is par excellence. EVERYTHING is in place in this intro. I recall (my head is a bit in buzz now though..) in some version you could change the music by pressing the F-keys.. or..?

i luved this one back then. as far as i remember, there was an ugly small sound, when you exitted this one. tro was killed out of mem during exit (?), to make it harder for rippers to rip the tune. no cartridges at that time, as far as i recall it.
a very cool tune by dave whittaker on alien syndrome. nice small code too. perfect 10!

Nice looking scroller and checkboards and I really like the mesmeric tune too.
it says 1999 but as far as i remember it was in 1989 🙂 maybe some kind of typo, anyway I like this one very much and the music is relaxing and very good 🙂
