Fuck yeah!!! This made my day…I love dot plotters, and I love circle scrollers, so what’s to complain about, except the tune is a bit slow and redundant for my tastes, but it’s really nothing too bad. 9+
How do these circle scrollers work? They are really cool. Are they actually vector points, or is there some trick at play here, like a circle-dotted pattern?
IF i recall right, then this production is a partymade production, because Ice Lord needed a intro for his imports. Then Mikael Balle, Jesper Kyd and Murphy started to talk with Crionics and importing/cracking/training games was not popular within The Silents. At least not shown to the public 😉
As pmc already said, circle scrolls rule. I don’t really like this tune, although I do love many of Kyd’s tunes – pretty nice overall for a little import-intro!

What pmc said. At first glance it’s nothing special for 1989, but the copper shading and circle scroller pull you in. Intriguing music too 🙂
Circle scrolls rule. The tune grew on me as I listened – not surprising seeing as Jesper Kyd is a legend. I also like that the copper shading on the simple text (shame they didn’t use a nicer font for it) has been done with a little more polish to it than your standard horizontal copper bar colour changing. Overall a pretty nice one. 🙂

Music plays but black screen??

I’ve never seen this before. I really like it. I wish i had made a scroller like that back in the day.
