to musashi: are u using the .bss tune or the .cus version of the tune on the flashtro?
i just checked the original and it definitely is the .cus version used in the orig. tune is loaded to 37d72 and to 70000.
would also be nice to see this classic in bigger size. can u do a newer version, pleez?

yep, you’re right maxxy, the tune is a conversion from the gametune for phalanx II, composed by thomas l. on the beathoven synthesizer.

macgyver, i think the prob is, that musashi is looping the custom tune after 75 or 80 secs. i’m not sure, but i think the original loops after 270 secs or so.

The Champs… my Heros in 1988… I like the intro with the rotating planet…I think it was copied by the Mefaforce (Crazy Typer) in one Demo later on…
after champs was died syntax was quartex supporter,member,spreader or what ever. never see his name in the member list but i traded some time with him before i was busted by the police and he had always send only O day quartex stuff. but i never asked him if he is member of qtx. i have think that it must be so. think i right???
i’m also interested what is happened with him….
anyone knows, what happened to dr. pablo and syntax 2001? busted or retired?

one of my absolute intros – 100% clean and honest!! i love THE CHAMPS. this intro was on the sidewinder disk – i start this disk not because of the game, only the intro! a nice original comment from ports of call… "Guten Tag THE CHAMPS in 1988. Dies ist ihr Spiel, viel Spass!" 😀

winter olympiad 88 (think released End of January 1988)
rockford (think that was march 1988)

fantastic tune. great team! seems the tune is not complete in the flashtro, but loops much earlier than in the original. i have got that tune in my deliplayer favorites list, and it loops different there.
