True but then again, we kept promoting board numbers all the way to the mid 90’s (and telnet/FTP IP’s shortly after). Surprisingly, there weren’t that many boards busted ‘for the sake of running a bbs’. Most sysops (that I remember / I am sure people with better memory will chime in) got busted/raided for other activities. (E.g. cards / selling software / etc…). So, contrary to popular belief, it was not so dangerous to have a phone number in a release.
True ‘dat! I’ve no idea how I’d even find an FTP supersite these days. I last ran an FTP (corporate / legit) server over 15 years ago. Is FTP even used any more?
These days I’m so paranoid of viruses and trojans I’d rather buy an original. One could say that malware achieved what law enforcement could not.

Simple but elegant. Huge Logo, coherent colorscheme, complete scrolltext with gigantic greetings list, ST-01 samples, and The BAND, everything is said.
I like the logo… shiny
pure oldskool, thx 4 da work
You would not put your phone number into a scroll text anymore these days.. 😉

Nice nostalgic feeling in this one, mostly due to the music – just listen to all that ST-01 goodness, hihats/claps and orchestral stabs everywhere!
