Very nice intro! Sinus scroller + cool zik and everything.
The music is from Unreal on Amiga, from the flying dragon sections, Mr.E/Oracle ripped it first for his intro on James Pond.
Like the scroller and really like the vertical scroller, presumably this is simply reloading the copper to produce that effect?
EDIT: Looking at how smooth it is, must be a modulo effect instead.
Typically done (here “7 pixels” fonts) that you have predrawn gfx with a stripes for each “pixel column”, then use copper to set colors for each on every line and scroll the colors on the copper to get the movement.. All kinds of twists can then easily be implemented using modulo or setting bitplane pointer on each row.
Nice one Galahad you legend, knew it from somewhere… intrigued of that modulo approach…
Yeah I’d like to read more about how the effect could be implemented with modulo.

Good intro, never seen this one before. Classic sine scroll + one of those simple copper-stripe scrollers above (simple but nice-looking effect).
This one is very cool, both scrollers are really nice and I enjoy this tune!! 🙂
Maybe a logo on top would have made it even cooler!! 😀
