There really isn’t much to upload. I still have my A3000 and a collection of disks with coded stuff, but the only really unreleased intro by me was this: http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=28603
According to the Amiga databases these were the last few releases. I never had very close contact to the others, so sadly there are no stories to share. And it was soooo long ago. 🙁
I can think of several much better MOD files that would have fit into less memory for your intro Mnemotron 🙂
But nice to see you here, feel free to upload anything you have from your Amiga days (missing intros, source, even just stories/info from ‘the glory days’).
BTW: Did the ‘re-formed’ Spreadpoint (1992+) release anything else besides this and Troddlers?

Interesting discussion here… 🙂 As all of this happened more than 20 years I have no idea how and when I got the “original”, but I guess someone Warp’ed it and it was sent to me by modem. Skid Row probably released their crack just a bit earlier? I never was on warez boards back then, so I can’t know. Also, doesn’t Pinball Fantasies save the scores? I maaaaay have messed up the save routine resulting in a bad sector. Or was that some other game? Dunno. Sorry about the music, but it may have been used due to size… Read more »
Funny… they moan about groups and ppl. selling warez and at the end of the scrolltext they advertise for buying VHS video tapes.

Pinball Fantasies 100% Final [3/4]
If it was a re-release, as you said it would have been nuked instantly on all BBS so there was probably some reason for releasing it, no matter how small (maybe a tiny difference in code, maybe it was a 1.01 version with a bugfix after the french distributor release from Bomberman+Willy already was duplicated, that sort of crap).
But you are right of course, I think everyone regarded the SR version of this game as the ‘release’ version, I don’t remember ever downloading this spreadpoint version myself 🙂

well, I never heard that a group has put out a "release" version. considerung that many releases at that time came from the distributors and not from the shops except for some uk releases I presume a "release" version is a self invention by Spreadpoint. The Skidrow release was faster and supplied by Bomberman&Willy since TSL has surely not given them an internal or beta release of their game it must be the same version sold in the shops so Spreadpoint could not mark it as a final sales version because the SR release was already final. I also could… Read more »
A "release" version is the same thing as final sales… it’s the version that was released on store shelves.

Talking about quality and coming up with this dirt…. I even doubt their release of pinball fantasies was valid… what is a release version pls? Either its a 100% or a final sales…
classic red blue and green copper bars and nice let it be tune by beatles. kick off fobt by dino dini. spt telling the truth about a scene based on money.
I had this version also, but I never played it because the intro was so horrible 😛 But I did agree with the sentiment in the scroller – greets to Mnemotron and Ice-Tea 🙂
I like the message in the beginning of the scroll text… highly inspired by Asterix adventures hehe.. nevertheless they are totally right about the scene. It started to be lame back in those days and it just got worse and worse. The scene today is just a heap of crap
Oh what a classic. I remember this one very well, cause I had this version of PINBALL FANTASIES. Very unusual cracktro for 92. But I think they wanted to do it just like this, to show others what really matters. FRIENDSHIP

Thx mate, it was on old one though from Stream 07 music compo, but you didn’t remember as you weren’t there *cough* ;D
@Serpent, hey you had a nice tune at some Paradise PSP release. Cracky stuff.
Exactly what 8bitbubsy said.
Yep. The scene is still releasing shit. I like this intro. Mind you – be prepared to take critisism when making critisism.
The music is off-tune, the background is HORRIBLE. On the other side, the scroller is okay.
Cool intro.. remember this one. The music does my head in though. Funny scrolltext he he.

what happened to phil douglas? bust or death?
Phil Douglas passed away? or did he retire from the scene? Scroller mentions RIP
I agree wholeheartedly on what Proton and Stormbringer said.
true words from the spaceballs! also: smart scroller and classic font, but… the sound really sucks! 😛
nice scroller + cooper. i like the music and the scroller is really true.. like this crew!!! always respect!
