Shade bobs and text writer == nice!

It seems the color selection has been kept, only the background is always black. I had made it som it was a darker shade of the bob colors, except that it was black behind the logo (as i recall).

This also accounts for the bad fade from the bobs to the background. If i had meant for the background to be black i would have had faded the shadebobs to black instead of dark green/blue/red.

Wow!, really nice intro, music is great.love the shade blobs. A who’s who of the 80’s and 90’s piracy scene all in the one group.

I also do remember the version with the random color selection. It is a great intro that fits well into the legacy of fine skid row intros.

While Skid Row is one of my most favorite groups on Amiga, very few of their intros were actually fine. Most were quite ugly, even back in the day. One could tell they just wanted to slap something and move on to the next thing. It was really obvious, and that is one aspect of Skid Row I find annoying as hell.

This is one Skid Row intro which is fine, but it is an exception, rather than the norm.

Haha Newton 😛 Were the other colour schemes pink/purple? I do like the shadebobs tho, and actually this colour scheme with the pale blues/black is very nice and suits everything here.

I saw the version where the shadebobs were always Blue. Loved it. Why did you not code a scroller for this intro?

For the sake of simplicity and design. I think a scroller would have cluttered the design.
Also, it is inspired by the old C64 writers like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5z-fl_e_qM0 which didn’t have scrollers 🙂

hey! Another one of mine, under my short lived Party Jesus/Pariah guise 🙂
As i remember it, it had three different background colours, bob colours and movements that was chose randomly on startup, but when I saw it used, someone had removed all that so the background was black.

Post SSR-era though… So supplies were coming from the Frenchies. Still a top-team, just not the same as when they had SSR.

Still a top-team ??? lol with wildcard and maximilien trying to take over nor earning the fame we build up, talking bollox to selim and rudi for getting the originals and to make them stay in SR (asked them how the way is to get them and shit like tht , which didnt worked well), ahwell, that all was reason enough for SSR to leave, and all went fine and funny for us, creating Crack inc. Dynamix, and least being part of Ministry…….

Whoops. Touchy subject it seems 🙂 – How did Wildcard ever get in and what is that he contributed? He lived like 30km from me, yet we never met (except for once unknowingly) and I always wondered…
