Well, I liked the tune at first, but it got redundant rather rapidly. Strange perspective on the cube, but it’s better than the 0 vector cubes I’ve coded.
Cube perspective is perhaps OK but sometimes wireframe can kind of fool your eyes which start seeing the front face of the cube as the back – viewed like that the perspective looks screwed. I know this because I spent a while trying to find the fault in the perspective transform of my own first wireframe vector code only to find there was no fault – I’d just gone cross eyed from staring at the spinning cube too long! 😀 Problem here with the vectors is the cube has the shakes – not enough accuracy in the sin / cos… Read more »
I’m glad you explained that, since the second time I examined the cube visually I didn’t perceive any perspective flaw at all :O Eventually I want to code a vector routine from scratch too, maybe even take it on in the c64, which would be a major mathematical challenge in and of itself…trying to do matrix transformation/rotation with no mul/div. 😛
This is what happens when an ugly c64-intro and an ugly Amiga-intro make babies.
My thought exactly. WTF with the standard 64 font?

Terrible in each and every imaginable way.
cubes <3
This one is from from my old friend Viruz (hi Jonas! 🙂 who was more into gfx/msx than coding.
@M9: rare find!
Not a great intro, and it is not helped by the randomly generated music!
