@TCB – The SE version was based originally on Earok hacking the graphics into the ripped disk image from the WHDLoad install, obviously that was fine if anyone was using the WHDLoad version, but it ruled out people that didn’t use it or used emulators where WHDLoad isn’t really convenient. So I took the hacked disk image and cracked it to work from a normal floppy again as the original ripped disk image was from an MFM copy protected disk with larger tracks. The SE version needed cracking or was it based on Galahad’s ‘original’ cracked version? Bit confused here… Great intro BTW 🙂
I’ve just figured out that doing complicated copperlists to bugger up Musashi is a waste of time. I’ve just realised that it would be impressively and stupidly easy to rip that copperlist out without breaking a sweat and have the intro be 100% a copy. Simply enter whilst the original intro is running, stop the horizontal scroller, fill up that entire black space where the scroller sits setting every single pixel on, and ta da, use WinUAE to then rip the screen which will capture the entire copperlist display and save it as an image, and well, i’m sure its… Read more »
Simple but nice little intro, tune suits it well. I like how Galahad changed up the copperlist for the scroll, just to out-do Musashi9 🙂
