Was this a bootblock intro by any chance? This would explain why no music, and why star frontiers was abbreviated s. frontiers in the scroller (and also, perhaps, why the colors do not move in a sinuscurve as was the norm)
this one must be from 1987. mr. zeropage was one of the very best crackers on c64 AND amiga at that time. think he also did a version of geebee air rallye
nice work
Hell yeah…all this coolness in the bootblock alone?
ah nice colours! 🙂
mmh coding for the bootblock. I remember coding one of those utils where you could switch pal/ntsc, kill extra ram, kill external diskdrive etc.
Very fun optimising bytecode to fit into 1024 bytes.
I seem to remember i had the source code of that one, i think it was a bootblock yes, most probably made by HQC.
never seen this one before, basic but cool

Simple but nice copper bars.
yep mr.zeropage rocked.. and yes he did this version of geebee..
as for the cracktro .. i like it but no music… 🙁
hmm formula one was offical released from EA in 1988. but that had nothing to say 😀
i can’t also remember to see this intro ever before .. hmm. no can’t remember at the moment!
i remember this one – excellent!!! :yes
yah a nice chip would have made his way there …
but i like it for sure 🙂
nice one. very economical, with no logo and system fonts, bit still manages to look cool.

Yup, simple but somehow nice – must be nostalgia + the blue/purple palette 🙂
Hey, never seen this one. In its simplicity pretty decent one. Just misses some catchy chip tune.
