hey im Tod one of the X-rayz , soo nice to see one of our intros online after all these years :), this did bring a smile to my face when i found this site, all the intros on here brought back alot of great memories 🙂 thx for that.
well actually quoram lasted not long, but they became a major Cracking Group, they called themself after quoram The Kent Team and had some good coop Releases with BS1 back then… there ya go
It seems you are mixing up things here. The Kent Team became QUORAM. It’s not that I need to search my memory for that but they state this in the scrolltext of this very intro =D
Never seen this before. Only thing by Quoram I ever saw was an intro with a gold coloured rectangle at the bottom and a heavy electric guitar mod playing, and shit as it was, it was at least listenable whereas this isnt. They were attached to Bamiga Sector 1 for a while and then quickly died off.
I remember seeing Quoram greeted by many groups, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything actually by them before now. The old dot-matrix scroller (easiest thing to code on a machine with bitplanes ever) + copper bars look OK, but that “tune” is horrendous…

As long as you hit the mute button on the speakers fast this one is OK – I really like the scroller.

Well, they were absolutely right as I am currently writing from Singapore. These guys were quite visionary 🙂
looks great, sounds ok , i dont mind the tune 🙂 pinball scroller
Took a while but the “underlying” tune is mod.n.s speedo by Titan, right?

😉 sounds like it to me
Now that I see (and err, hear) it again, I actually remember this one from back in the days but totally forgot about it. Thanks for the trip, M9!
Never seen this before – Very nice design, horrible tune!
Seconds Siriax. What year was this? And did Quoram ever become “the major cracking group in the UK” (apart from hanging with BS1 etc)?

Appealing visuals blemished by a disgrace of a tune!
A new one for me – interesting…
