You are right, the tune above that one, called z00m!n’ sounds almost the same as the intro but it has an extra ‘haunting wind’ sound part at the end.
However the mod used in the PlayStation intro was converted (unpacked) with prowizard, so perhaps the haunting wind sound was removed in the conversion process.
Or maybe it is one of the other tunes listed on that page. I have gone through Z-R and not found anything similar (too lazy to go through them all).

@Fairlight: years late, but this was not on V-Rally 2. The intro used on V-Rally 2 has the same logo but was not made by Zweifeld but by myself. I love Zweifeld’s stuff, I taught him well 😉

Well, the Playstation is extremly weak when it comes to 2D stuff compared to other consoles "popular" these days (e.g. Sega Saturn).
Ok intro.. DYPP and everything 😉 Don’t like the logo at all. I wonder how an intro like this can take more than one frame? I assume PSX should be powerful enough for stuff like this..
Not a bad intro, but suffered from the same problem as the PDX FF9 intro – slows down all the time and jerks as it goes over 1 frame…
good one except i dont like the logo that much..but got a cool font and yes the tune is great!
I remember this cracktro from the game RAYSTORM. Fantastic zik by ESTRAYK.
