Green = could come from the monochrome screens. These were popular in late 70’s. 🙂
Well, either you have the nostalgia for hearing this strange tune in the past or you lack such a connection. I think our emotions for fondness for a lot of this stuff are connected with the excitement of getting new floppies in the mail, BBS downloads, or copies from someone. I know it’s the case for me. As for green vectors, maybe it has to do with some of the original vector hardware producing a predominantly green phosphor trace? Like Star Wars for instance..although it did have other colors…asteroids? Just a guess.

Lovely intro.. and the music is a classic. Even the strange ‘bling’ sound at the beginning is there :love I wonder what was the obsession of making green colored line vectors? ..always green..
