Probably my favorite Mode7 intro, I just love Bomberman and that Microforce tune (WOTW couldn’t have done it better, right, Wayne?). Sweet design as always by Sekret!
Quite ironic to read about M7’s ‘hatred for the scene’ though when everything just went even more downhill after the GBA days. Extra bonus points for making the rom lamers wait before they can advance to the game.

Nothing at all wrong with a checkerboard mover/zoomer coupled with a cool tune. That rules about the button thing. Nice.

like the vf-style background effect. the sound sounds a little buggy or bad, as if a "Sample" was looped wrong

yes nice one! the bomberman is also cool here ..a little mode7 logo in thew left top (other side as this cute button) would make this more fine!
