@daison: That was the point of the 2nd paragraph of my post, if you read it…? When I said, "this decade", I meant 2000-2010 on the c64…I was observing the Amiga influence that I know a few of the current purveyors of "cool" would certainly try and deny. Yeah. I have to admit I love a ton of Melon intros…they certainly generated a wave of conformity to their notion that design is *everything* and pastel type (non coder colors) schemes are in. However, I am a fanatical lover of scrollers and I feel what you are saying…plus, I occasionally like to see bright clashy colors as it takes me back to the 80’s.
