One would think a color scheme & use of colors here would suck but no. This demo is just grrrreat stuff!! <3

Nice use of motion capture. Considering that it’s Melon, they did pretty well for them this time around. The gravity simulator is slick. Still weird as all getout style, I guess they just can’t break out of their muster. They should have been painters or sculptors, I think…
I like the routine and the music at the end. Perhaps there is still hope for them…

that’s pretty outstandin’. That was the Thriller dance, wasn’t it? Is the end part a visualisation of a guru meditation error?
Looks like it was inspired by some of the dance steps in “The Thriller”, but seems an original motion capture, which is cool (and for Amiga, back to the roots with Amiga’s use of genlock, although they probably obtained the motion data on Windows with a PC-bucket). The end part appears to be a rough smoke / particle dispersion routine, or at least the beginnings of one, if more colors were to be added. Then again, one never really knows where one’s at with Melon, since they seem to be a few fries short of a happy meal: avantgarde, Atellier… Read more »

Very original stuff. (at least for me 😉 ) But i still miss a melon logo! other than the little one in the bottom right corner…
