This has got to be one of the funkiest Adlib tunes ever! Close to “Don’t look any further” indeed but that’s a good thing. I didn’t even know Jism was active on the PC but I was focusing on other scenes back then. Intro looks nice enough!
I’m sure he knows he was one of the best trainermakers (probably *the* best) on PC, but next time you speak to him tell him anyway 🙂 Rotox + I both say hi, haven’t heard from him since about 1997!
I like the scroller sine, dont think i’ve seen one quite like that, the limitations of its height make it slightly unique. Bassline from “don’t look any further”?
I read this and had to check youtube for the song, but yes you’re 100% right! It’s not the same but the general “feel” of it is. It was probably floating around in the back of my head when I started coming up with the tune (which 99% of the time I do starting with the bassline first btw, no idea why)…
Nice fonts & gr8 tune by WK! Somehow reminds me the one in Prism slideshow (from Melon Dezign), composed by Delorean. The one in the cracktro is just lovely, makes the intro for me!
Wow… speechless. I don’t know where you found this one M9, it’s pretty embarrassing! The music really isn’t my best, and I have no idea why I’m credited for graphics when there aren’t any (other than Uno’s great font).
Believe it or not we actually put out a few reasonable PC games back then – just to piss off some “elite” PC guys who said we couldn’t do it – from memory the best of those was a rally game which turned out to be coded by Lem from the SNES scene (Gin+Lem of Anthrox).
Not bad. Scroller like this first showed up in PaRaDoX’s intro by Corto on Star Control.

On my ancient Windows (and the last Chrome release available for that system) the sound is only on the left speaker by the way.
Not bad, scrollers original…funny was speaking to Grudge just today!

Will do mate!

That’s it! I was bobbing my head trying to figure out where I knew it from.

Okay for a text intro, nice music.
