@Annatar:
I would suggest something more cycle accurate, like i.e. (Lib)SidPlay2. TinySID is nice, small and compact, leaves small footprint and thus perfect for flash remake purposes. However, it does not play all SIDs accuratelly. Some less, some more. I had to give up on couple of intros (for now) just because of that.
TStorm: you’re an angel 🙂 Love this one and C64 intros on Flashtro is a brilliant idea 🙂
To be honest, i prefer C64 cracktros over most Amiga ones. Especially because i’m mostly known for my Amiga work, but the style and effort in many C64 cracktros are just fantastic, were Amiga cracktros were far from that polished. There are too many ugly ones on Amiga, compared with C64. Just my point of view 😉
not the bes co-op intro but really nice to see now also c64 intros , too. keep on!
nice music in this intro!

COOL! looking forward to more c64 intros, what i didn’t like from docsynders page is that he changed the scroll texts. Hopefully you will keep them original as with the Amiga flashtros! Keep it up !

Wikid! Was about time to open a c64 section:-) Almighty SID tune by JCH.
Cant count stuff I had bitd from I+T. They were the masters of the first release! GLORY DAZE! @WayneK
Didn`t Fletsh also switsh to AMIGA around 91?
Lovely stuff, classic logoswing + sprite ‘sparkles’ on upper logo. Good choice also, since more than 1 of the Ikari+Talent guys later found their way to the Amiga scene – Hi Bod! 🙂
In case anyone’s wondering – what you hear is realtime emulated SID in flash. Made possible by the guys who wrote TinySID and Adobe Alchemy. I got inspired by the post UnitZeroOne published couple of years ago on his blog, achieving the same thing. Unfortunately, he never did release the sources, so I had to learn things the hard way. Anyways, I managed to write the flash<->C (Alchemy) wrapper for this project and compile the linux version of TinySID into the flash. Not the most accurate SID emulation, I know, but at least it provides the ‘bleeps’. 🙂
UPDATED to HTML5
Thank you Musashi and TStorm 😉
One of the BEST I+T intros EVER (imo)… Hollow+.sid fits sooo well to this amazing design and gfx!
I like the way this guy, here above, is talking 😛 😉
Last time I tried to build LibSIDPlay2, the code was so bad that it would not compile on anything that wasn’t GCC and GNU/Linux.
If I catch some time, I might give it another shot.

…Which in turn inspired me to get it working on Solaris:
> file tinysid
tinysid: ELF 32-bit LSB executable 80386 Version 1 [FPU], dynamically linked, not stripped
Compiled with Sun Studio 12.1 compilers with:
-g -xipo=2 -xO5 -xprefetch=auto -xarch=generic -xchip=generic -xtarget=generic -xlibmopt -xprofile=use:profile-data -lpthread
And it works! Jammin’ to "Hollow+.SID"…
This has got to be Jens Christian Huus’s finest hour. And that is one of the best intros Excell ever made.

hahaha…now this is a surprise!!!!… dont hesitate to bring them ESI , HTL and ATC stuff ..as there are most of the BEST tunes ever on a cracktro 🙂
Hell Yeah! And I didn’t think Flashtro could get any better?!
oh and dont forget the TStorm for the SID replayer! BIG UPS bruv!
Sure its not accurate but more than enuff for a flashtro.

Cool. C64 Powa!
Nice logo swinger. And as regards the tune, well – it’s a great one. The SID is the daddy of all chiptunes after all. 🙂
Great work on this C64 cracktro conversion. More please.:)
yeah, c64 tros. good work guys!
