God damn it’s such a beautiful text writer. So cool. EDIT: forgot to say the rest rules too of course! Must’ve just been. mesmerised. by. the. so. great. writer. 😀
Nice release, sweet tune (once more the web replay routine doesn’t do it justice) and again a cool intro by Alpha One! And thanks for the greetings! Much love to the entire Flashtro crew!

Finally I have a time to write. What a great surprise in the morning it was! Great, great tune! Truly nice typer effect! Solid logo with a wonderful bubble/ball reflect. Personally I would, if I may, have added two/three small thingies:
1. A black(white)/lighter outline line around the star,
2. Filled the F letter with BG flying typer colour to equilibre the colours on the screen,
3. Added a vertical 1px bluish+1px darker line(s) to separate the the logo BG grom the rest. Or somkinda zig-zag…
But as we know, every artist has its vision =).
Great stuff!
Fresh and cool prod… Great music, a future classic ? Which way are you working, today’s coders/gfx/musicians (platform, tools….) Mainly on PC ? Or real hardware ? Are you still using DPaint, Sound/Protracker, Devpac/seka ..?
I code 68000 Stuff on Mac using Textmate and FS-UAE with a neat toolchain that allows me to assemble and run my stuff within seconds. The final is tested using a real Amiga afterwards.
I created my own one using VASM for assembling and 2 lines of scripting within an Textmate bundle. It’s very cool as I can now simply use F-Keys within Textmate for assembling 68000 or 68020 code and/or run an specific ECS or AGA config to execute the code.
Nice Release, great work!
Talking about the intro… it really looks better on WinUAE / real Amiga, somehow in the flash remake the letters are way too fast and not as smooth as in the real version. Also there is one more pixelline gap in between the rows. 🙂
@SIRIaX : nothing was wrong, the original crack was the 512kb version, Flashtro propose now the rare 1Mb special edition retail release of James Pond. This one has an animation in the intro that the original 512k version doesn’t have. Thanks to Abaddon for buying the original 🙂 !

what toolchain you refer to?

Sounds very nice – I wonder if I could do something similar using Vim instead… hmmm…
vim macros should work.
Is it something like that Hannibal’s toolchain on pouet ?

Huh.. did not know about stuff like this is available 🙂 Should check to have it for OSX.
The one available on pouet is nice and has everything you need including c compiler but is too blown up for my needs. 🙂
Excellent text routine & I really like the tune used here… 2 releases in 1 day, don’t call it a comeback?!
This is a nice little intro. As others have mentioned, the text writer is super cool!
Congratz Flashtro, another release in 2015! The text writer is simply GR8! 🙂
Nice Release, great work!

how does it look now?
Hmm still looks jerky to me somehow. Perhaps I’m just getting old and can’t trust my eyes anymore. 🙂
that might be it =D
I just noticed that my PC @ work made the problems… it looks pretty now watching it at home on a real Computer. 🙂
Lol =). DO not code/test at work than =PPPP.

Great stuff! Who was behind it? Any further information about this release? Eg. What was wrong with the original crack?
Just love the text writer routine. Nice trainer as well 😀
