Very advanced for its time. No c64-like nor Atari like copper, great logo (althou looks more like if it was digitilised rather then pixeled). The tune is also more 90s than samples-only.

Echoing what some already said: great for the time of release. I would have loved this in 1988! Fun little function to be able to be able to change the sinus scroller (and save / reset it!). I don’t get the whole bootblock thing though ; especially “…if this demo was destroyed by a virus or for any other reason, contact us…” If the bootblock was gone because of a virus, nobody would be reading that scroller anyway? 🙂

Considering the time of release this is quite a good intro, I didn’t hear the music yet but the visuals is working for me 🙂

Can’t always tell in the Flash remakes but there’s no reason this one shouldn’t be a 1 pixel sine scroller if it isn’t one. Other than that nice enough.

As for ’88 and around – it’s simply a great one (even now I’d consider it a cool remake of the old flavor). I just can’t recall it on my copy of Hostages, which was one of my 1st games I ever played on A500… Anyway, nice intro!

The logo is a rip of the ELITE Software one.

There was a very similar font, used a billion times on the Atari ST.
But as Proton said, this one looks more like a straight rip of the Elite logo.
