I thought this was 2013????
Maybe i’m wrong and should go to my desk where my c64 are 😉
This stinks! We want PC quality stuff, not cracktros that my c64 could do i 1986!
Just lovely – pretty, chilled and beautiful to see and hear.Â

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Always lurking in the background, but never really gone, Fairlight shows the masses that the original elites will and always can rule the scene at will. This intro needs no introduction and is perfect just the way it is. It doesn’t need a 2013 revamp and should be a testament for the newer generations to show that you can still be active and contribute after 25 years. I don’t really think this is about cracks anymore. This is about pride, honour and nostalgia. Just a rant from a guy that… Read more »
Kill a Zonist for Mommie 🙂 – Yeah I agree with SIRIaX, these retro remakes are great, but we should be concerntrating on some new stuff, a modern version of this would be great, I suspect some may be afraid of what others say about the filesize etc, but if it’s got all the elements of a good cracktro, then so what. Be even better with a scroller from Strider 😛

Middle of April 2013 is near … Kudos, northern european brothers, where dreams began to become true …Ahh, Allah at Kuwait comes to my  mind? .. lol well, obviously not one of your proudest members in particular, nevertheless a part of scene history…

Of course, the mother of all cracktros, though I must confess it would have been more exciting to see a 2013 version of this old pearl, in a modern robe. (I refer to the Razor stuff) Anyhow, I doubt the average Bioshock player can either construe or comprehend the legacy behind this intro. For ones like us, already dressed in decay, it surely brings back nice memories.

Great intro, this one has it all, 10 out of 10 points 🙂
Those of you who want to hear a re-mastered ‘fresh’ version of the tune: https://youtu.be/u7C8ngsc_eQ

Hehee.. The scrolltext is the best for a looong time 😀
So this is in front of the PC version of Bioshock Infinite? I like the idea of this intro surviving the platforms. First c64, the Amiga and now PC.
Too cool.
Why not write to Strider and ask him for a scrolltext for a remake 🙂 http://www.sandiegorepublicans.org/chairman/
He is part of the Fairlight Fan Page on Facebook. Easier to reach him there 🙂

Nice to see a version of this – who doesn’t remember the iconic original intro from c64?!
