Those flowers are the shizz and awesome logo too. This is quality stuff.
The flower bobs and the logo don’t work in this intro, especially when the bobs zoom to a certain factor: they get really blocky because of their low resolution, which makes it even worse. Back in the day low resolution never bothered me, but the high-end UNIX workstations and the graphics accelerators really spoiled me: as I get older, the low res shit and lack of antialiasing bothers me more and more.
funky tune, 20 years l8r and still lookin’ pretty cool, nice idea with the flowers for a change.

Another GREAT intro it was worth to by the magical DC for!! Its understandable 😉 why the ECH dudes got pissed!

Thanks M9, appreciate the conversion! This was made for Fredro/EUR, as he said in the scrolltext there were only really 2 groups on the DC scene by this point, and I had already done an intro for the other one 🙂 Echelon were not best pleased that I did this, and I kind of got ‘frozen out’ after that, leaving the DC scene shortly afterwards 😛

I think the idea came from coding a starfield, and then I got thinking… field… flowers? I suggested it to CG (the gfx guy for this intro and a couple of others I made over the years) and he came up with the logo + flower gfx very quickly!
