Took some time to realize that, as always, the group name is "borrowed" 😉 Diamonds and Rust is a song from Judas Priest’s album Sin After Sin. Great band tho.. 😀
i think they should have mad the diamond solid, so the stairway didnt show through… or the diamond should be glenz vector.. if the diamond itself is not see-through, why can ou see the stairway behind it?
i like the blue stairway-to-heaven effect and the tune. maybe the diamond should have been in grey/white so that everybody can see the stairs are shining through it…
Could anyone explain the rational behind a group like Fairlight creating a sub-group (Diamonds & Rust) ? I know it was not unusual to release foreign language stuff or utils under a different brand, but D&R released some quality stuff also – typically premium stuff Fairlight would not have been shy of releasing themselves…
Didn’t mean to imply that it was wrong, just that I thought it looked odd.
More of a critique on the original I guess. To me it looks like it goes infront of the vector diamond/crystal/whatever and tried to fake depth and transparency by switching colours when the blue is infront of the object.
This one is dying to be converted to HTML5… And I still want an answer to my now 10 year old question 🙂 — Phil perhaps?
Great intro, indeed POWERFULL tune, original stuff for the real onez!
Great band indeed and quite beautiful song. It was originally written by Joan Baez though, not Priest 🙂
…and the intro is quite nice!

just nitpicking i know, nice intro all in all.

Oh.. never seen this before. Nice one!
Ah no probs, if it looked wrong (not like original) i would like to fix it
Winuae can be missleading at times

How is it on an original amiga?
i’ve take na snap from Winuae
and a snap of the flash
they look the same to me (changes colour behind the crystal)
It does on my machine. It changes colour behind the diamond to give the effect of a slightly transparent diamond.
Doesn’t this one look a bit odd? Shouldn’t the blue spiral go behind then come back infront of the vector object?
powerfull tune. where can i find more D&R cracktros?
very nice one… 🙂
… he did it again! Thanks for this conversion Musashi9 :love
great one ! I loooove it ! great work as usual, Musashi9 🙂
