In my ranking of the elite groups of the time, DEFJAM would be right up there. None of the usual dorks, bests and world dominators, they had many top realeases, just everything worked and they were fast.
Love this tune but it “belongs” to some other group and their releases 😉 Nice stars, good crack+trainer too. Eh, 30+ years passed and this tune gives me goose-bumps as it was day 1!

89 was a great year. Some of the best stuff were released for the Amiga this year and the crowd was more active than ever before. Brian Adams should write a new rock anthem, which reminds of this time in a very special way, 89 simply deserves this.
This was the version of Blood Money I had back in the day, I don’t know how many times I saw this intro running on my A500 but it must be well into the hundreds 🙂

Yep classic, had this actual release.
I thought Defjam was a European group. What’s with the post office box in Illinois?????
Dave Jones / later DMA Design (Lemmings) has quite a funny story about how he “leaked” Blood Money to Dundee “sceners” to get this game spread.
He didn’t have to try very hard – he & others in DMA were sceners (The Kent Team, amongst others) 🙂
Aie… This tune brings back only one group’s name, according to my experience and memory.
Interesting game it was. Althou kinda clumsy to maneuver…
