Maaannn, that is one cool font (from Paradroid, is it?) It always reminds me of the GENESIS + ANGELS intro with the “Gonads cracks” music on “Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge”.
But why was this intro coded without music?
All time classic intro – had this on the front of several games back in the day – Paradroid 90 and maybe Parasol Stars (?) to name two that seem to come to mind although my aging mind being what it is I may be wrong 😀
thinking about this more… isn’t Paradroid 90 where the cool gold coloured font used here is nicked from?

Its is the same font, it had already been used before for Lotus Turbo Challenge before Genesis became Crystal
Ahaaa, sooo! Now it’s crystal clear. I had no idea that Genesis became Crystal… why did they change their name?
Another legendary one. I thought they would add a tune some day, but sadly it never happened. What kind of sound could fit with this cracktro ? Something very simple like the buzzing used in FLT screens maybe.

I totally hated this intro when I was younger. It was so unspectacular, no sound no real logo, no effects and infront of so many damn games. Even today it literally gives me the creeps!
Always liked that proportional font, all around slick design here.
The flickering thing on the “Crystal” logo is on purpose ?
Yah it does it on the original too in Winuae , caused by the holes in the blocks that make up the logo
