I like the effect a lot, I just think the page is a bit bare, but then….I’ve been guilty of the same thing before on intros.
ah.. in this version you see a lot of aliasing, so i didn’t think it was using vectors. But then i don’t recall the particulars of the original.
the scroller uses a vector font; it’s stretched vertically along two segments of a sine curve (one at the top, one at the bottom), so it gives you the illusion of being inside a big turning wheel with a marquee text on the inside..
how is that effect done?
