Kind of.. I knew Shogun (the guy behind Delta music) and we.. well he to be frank worked on the Delta packer. He was the only person I ever shared my cruncher sources back then 😉
Some more history here.. The game Nebulus2 has all music by Barricade (i.e. Shogun’s team). The night the game was cracked & released I downloaded it off some board and had a look into the disks (two I recall). If my memory serves right it was the disk two that included “The Nebulus2 Music Show” (http://janeway.exotica.org.uk/release.php?id=55984). I think it was just there on tracks and could not be started anywhere. Don’t know why.. Anyway, being a bad person I extracted the stuff, made it executable, crunched it and the same night uploaded it to some boards.
Based on the DeltaPacker docs I think so. Grr.. he was having fun with me on my efforts to pack his song format. I did try to get better results than just rip stuff out of it and that did not work out so I gave up. LZ packing samples was not much of use. The first module packer that actually did pack samples was afair The Player (using 4 or 8 bit delta coding).

It is in Delta Packer format. Didn’t you have something to do with this packer?

Is it true it doesn’t actually pack anything it just removes the replay code and rearranges some other stuff ?
