the really nice mod is the title theme from the game Future Tank (mod.tanktitle) by Karsten Obarski.

Hello boys and girls, it’s Gonthar from… The Band! Hell yeah, our coop with CBC, totally forgotten about these Frenchies 🙂 Must be I’m getting an old fart I guess… Anyway, this intro is fairly early stuff. Not the best, not the worst… intro’s weren’t our core business though: we were all about releasing games and trainers as fast as possible! 🙂
CBC was so damned cool back then! 😀 Very nice intro for the time.. thought this has not aged as well as the Sun Riders’ incredibly short intro 🙂
I love this kind of thing also, ST-01 bassline and arps bring back so many memories 🙂
Also nice to see CBC stuff, Freddy/CBC was an absolute genius from those days (check the CBC Sword of Sodan intro for proof).
great, these kind of intros brings back a lot of memories. a very typical intro for this period of time: sprite stars, logo, blitter and copper scroller (yes!) and ‘latest’ soundtracker mod from karsten obarskie. we all started with this 🙂 very great memories for me.

It´s one of those beautiful intros from the fall of the 80´s that has a unique style and looks just different to all that appeared in the 90´s. For a 1988 drawn logo it´s very good, same to the font. The copper colors are for 80´s circumstances VERY well selected. The module is very popular I think I used it once in one of my packs that came 5 years later, Deathlord remixed it as well. I am not sure what you take as benchmark for a 1988 release if you consider this as ugly.
