Yes, there are no irqs used in the intro except VBL… the “per-line” scrolling is just a loop that wait for the next scanline (check VCOUNT, as you said) and writes the correct values into BGxxOFS for the “plasma” (picture, lol!) and stripes.

WayneK, you move REG_BG2VOFS, REG_BG1HOFS on the hbl ? the bottom scroll is OAM char ?

Yay! My 2nd attempt at making a trainermenu on GBA, and it’s only slightly better than the first one 😛 ‘Plasma’ is really a picture being waved up/down with some stripes being waved left/right on top of it to try and disguise the fact… 🙂 Thanks for converting it M9!
