When I first saw it, it was the most beautiful intro of the time, no doubt about it. The chip didn’t bother me. Too bad that ANIMATE couldn’t deliver this quality in their later releases.

The repeated melody sounds very much like the one on ‘The O.T. Quartet – Hold that sucker down’ ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbENxEYcCVw ), but that one was released in 1994, while Sherman M4 for amiga apparently originates from 1989. ( https://www.mobygames.com/game/sherman-m4 ) . Nice animation anyhow….
