Interesting logo. Music by BlackWine? Hm, is it the same guy, currently in DreamWeb, organizer of Decrunch party? Must check with him next time we meet. If that’s you BW, didn’t know you could do such a good msx! 🙂

Ok, thats interesting. I like this brave design and the music works fine. Just music a scroller or 2-n text pages 🙂

It’s that ultra-cool thing which cost 850,- DM and most of us from my neck o’ the woods couldn’t afford and drooled over. Took me three years of odd jobs working entire Summers, smuggling coffee and re-selling A500’s, A600’s and various ancillary equipment for them plus selling my C=128D to scrape enough money to get an A1200.

Mmh? I payed around 350DM back in 95 for a used one in perfect condition plus a cd rom drive.

Yeah but you didn’t live in a country where computers were officially unavailable then. Also I bought mine brand new in 1995, right before C= went tits-up, after they did the price dropped like a rock. I sold mine together with a 536 MB Seagate IDE drive for 1000,- DM in June 1996 and that was only because it had a 3.5″ hard drive, which was an extremely expensive performance option in my neck o’ the woods. After that I had no computer at all until July 1998, when I bought a Sun Microsystems SPARCStation 1+ at a HAM fest… Read more »

Nice story Annatar. I used SUN stations + Solaris somewhere between… 2001-2004 I think, and it was a solid OS and HW. Till today, SPARC servers + Solaris OS are used somewhere in the datacenters around us ;). But not for long, thou… Sniff…
