@Subzero – Just some stuff hasn’t aged well at all, and I just didn’t like it. Reminds me too much of Atari ST scene stuff. I appreciate that it has some design of sorts, but I just didn’t ever like the end result. I think it just goes to show just how quickly the Amiga scene moved that stuff like this was quickly bettered.

maybe because frenchies have problems with spelling an "h". just let a french woman tell you the alphabet in french…
I read somewhere that the original name was Hackerlight, and they dropped the "h" letter to be in front of the greetings, which at that time were made by alphabetical order !!! Nice idea isn’t it ?? :p

"Acker" is not an actual word… The original name was "Crackerlight" and the members decided to drop the "cr" for some reason. The rest is -as they my friends…- history!
Confirmed, this was a French group with a tiny part in Switzerland. After Ackerlight were busted, Swiss members founded Zenith ….

Ackerlight was cool! The decruncher effect in that monitor is just fab. Typical French people, they had to mess the keyboard layout with their own 😀
