So simple and effective, is there anything comparable back then? I think I saw something like this on a rare ‘Hellas Utility Disk’ (’89)

Yup nice effect & smooth transitions between the patterns too, looks good!
I was very happy about the bob effect. There is just a small difference in rotation speed for each row, and that makes the different patterns appear spontaneously.
