This intro is a cherished classic… if someone were to enroll in studies of intro design, this, along with only a handful of other intros, would be course material.
This is really good!
As for the design…Maybe it helped that I was – and still am – very interested in art with August Macke and Franz Marc being two of my favorite artists which could be an explaination for the blue(!) bobs and the other bright and shining colors.
@mus@shi9: Looks like that more blue bobs are flying around in this version than in the orginal cracktro?!

So it is! I didn’t recognise it being all squashed in that scroller… just ripped that font myself for a little Flashtro cracktro, nice one Newton 🙂
bonus info: the scroll font was drawn by me (newton/rebels) for the total triple trouble demo

ROG: You created my two favourite cracktro’s ever – I remember these better than the games that they represented, this one, and one from Dynablaster – Vision Factory, grey and white grid rotozoomer. Everytime I hear the tunes or see the scrollers it takes me back to a naive time when I didn’t know what it all meant (the scene etc.) Certainly liked em!

Unfortunately everything (my Amiga 500 including all discs and source codes) got lost when I moved from Bremen to Hamburg four years ago. 😐
What a great intro you made! I spent countless hours watching it. It is still one of my most favorite intros on Amiga. This is how it is done!!!

Are you still interested in the original source code? My detective investigations led me to Raw Style who could find a copy of my lost source(s) on his HDD. Hallelujah, it’s a miracle. Just give me a sign if you are sufficiently nothing daunted to be confronted with sins of my youth.

Damn, musashi9 , what is wrong with you mate.. You and your Flashtro site rocks !!!! I totaly enjoying to view thos nice tros, and i visit this site like 30th times a day !! Just keep that good work, maybe some day we will have a Full Amiga Cracktro archive, with all tros converted to flash.. But it would be nice if you share your conversaation skills, because i bet there are a lot of people out there who would like to help ypu with your work !!
