Hi guys, on the contrary, we are one and the same group. Started on Amiga, then moved to PC in the early 90s. And yes, we did the Reality Adlib Tracker (RAD) also. All correct about the intro creator by Shayde too and Bad Barty’s move to NZ game store fame. Greets! Rogue/Reality (aka. Bad Grafix)
These demos were created with Shayde’s demo maker. I was told by Bad Barty that you selected a logo, font, typed in your scrolling messages and then it packed the demo into a single file. I’m not sure if the same utility put the file onto NDOS disks, but it searched for space and installed the intro automatically. This was because Bad Barty could not code at all, so the tool had to be automated. The Wild Wheels import from Reality uses exactly the same code so a Flashtro version should be able to be knocked up based on this… Read more »
Yo, CT, thanx for the info. I was in fact wondering, whether it was the very same group who did an Adlib RAD tracker with its own format. Thanx for claryfying it out!
For me it does its job VERY well. Could have a decent copper on the main text window in order to be really better! But still – very OK!

Is this the same Reality who were on PC (and made a very nice Adlib tracker, “RAD”)?
