Ugly logo but pretty decent menu overall! Extremely simple to code on Megadrive (the Y-sine is done by h/w scrolling every 16-pixels, which is a h/w feature & the bars are just tile gfx and the same 8×8 tile-map repeated to ‘stretch’ it over the whole background), although it looks Amiga-esque it would be harder to do on Amiga 😛
It’s a mode of the Y-scroll h/w feature – you can either scroll the entire plane, or point it at a table which controls the scroll-offset for each 2-tile width (16 pixels). Used for cool effects in games like Batman, Super Contra, etc 🙂
Harder, but its only a using 5 colours for the logo by the looks of things so the blitter should be able to handle that nicely enough with a decently drawn 8 colour logo.
