This is not anything special, well except the sinescroll, which changes this intro from bad to cool 🙂

FANTASTIC TUNE!!! Always loved this one. 🙂 Think it was used in a Dual Crew intro aswell??

I know it from this Razor’s intro.

When the cracktro is better than the game. Really nice for the age of the intro, music is of course stellar

Would have been better without the topaz font. Also a splash of contrasting colour would not hurt 🙂 Still a decent intro- nice sinus and star field!

Agreed, the Topaz font doesn’t really fit in any intro. The scroller is really nice though, and the tune is a classic of course. The star field is also a nice touch, even the rasters aren’t too shabby.

An all-Scottish effort, quite early in the career of Mr. E + Action Man I guess 🙂

But wasn’t Oracle a Dutch group?

Yes but the people involved in this specific crack were both in Scotland, trust me 😛

Odd it was considered Dutch when the most productive early members before IBM became a regular, were Brits.
Was always surprised Weetibix didnt stay longer though

As far as I know, it’s considered Dutch because it was founded by the Dutchmen in Holland… Commodore64 has csdb.dk where a group’s genesis and geneology is the standard part of a group’s profile, pity that there isn’t such a structured database for the Amiga, instead of the onerous reconstructions by means of tidbits from Exotica and Bitfellas…

Me too, maybe he got sick of all the other groups/crackers using his MFM loader without credit and went in the huff 🙂
I have Scooter/Oracle to thank for introducing me to phreaking, I’ll always remember “call me back + it’ll be free” in the glory days of black boxing (before the big BT busts nationwide!)

Poor George, moaning about people ripping off his loader which was used to rip off software companies lol

There’s only so many ways to do a file loader, but that aside, easily one of the best early Amiga crackers without a doubt.

Oh I trust you, but you know me, I’m fascinated most of all by the “trivia”, which in my opinion is a grave misnomer: it’s these tidbits like yours that are the most salient, interesting parts. I know Mr. E through his crack of The Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge for Genesis (where of course my first question was whether it’s the same Genesis as the one on the Commodore64, and what the connection (if any) there is)…
