yeah, I know it is grammatically incorrect or uncommon. The source a is a stone old amiga demo by a german group called Wildfire – the demo was entitled “in full affect”. Not only I loved the demo and especially the music in it, I liked the (meaningsless) slogan as well. I was in good contact with the group at my mailtrading times – So, I used it exactly the way they spelled it to show where it comes from. Cute intro, even if it feels a bit like a Prodigy menu due to the colours as TCB said! Cool scroller + music.
The first start of this intro in firefox (just yet) resulted in a garbled screen: no background pic and no blit-clear (i.e. scroll had smear effect). cannot seem to reproduce that, though. looks & sounds fine now.
Weird maybe the background image had yet to load :S (This is what I use to clear the screen)

ah ok maybe some sort of patch file that people who bought the game can use. That includes the trainer.exe and a way to patch the game.exe.?
The archive contains the lha as well as the trained cd32 version. The release of this trainer is delayed for 4 weeks in order to give the author time to sell his game.

The archive is now available for download but contains the trainer and the patched mainfile only in order to let those be able to use it who are in possession of the full version.
Just noticed that you “only” distribute the main file. I am aware that some people wish for an autofire option, so be it. Still it would have been nice to notify me.
Also, would you please delete the trainer option as this spoils the fun for highscore players? I still have the plan to open up a highscore website and this won´t work if such a trained version is circulating.
Thank, you. Well, those hunting for highscores will not use a trainer at all I guess or can disable the invincibility option manually. Even without the trainer it is easy to manipulate the highscores, any simple freezer will do it just like the one which is included in WINUAE. If we crossed you over, you have my apologize. Still I would like to keep the options as they are or remove the trainer entirely. If this is your wish.
Of course some die hard cracks will always find ways to manipulate highscores and stuff. Still I´d prefer if you remove the F3-option; autofire and superfire is fine with me.
Also, the copyright notice in the cracktro is wrong. Copyright is Richard Löwenstein (Richard Loewenstein without Umlaut) – that´s me. Amiworx is the distributor. Please change that, too.

Hehe No, the avatar was in here before our conversation =D Yes. I was and still am a big Amiga Joker fan. I grew up with this magazine and it inflamed my passion for amiga in a way. The work you did there is respected and appreciated that actually is one of the reasons why I did not want to harm your projects. However, I have sent the updated version to m9. I hope he is going to make it downloadable soon.
Not wanting to question any legality/morality issues here BUT given the exposure this is now getting across multiple platforms, I would not be surprised if another trainer emerges SOON. Based on the fact that we have the two authors here, can’t you guys work out a way whereby the trainer maintains its functionality (removing the need for someone else to do one) and build in a “check” for the intended Highscore-website so that you can detect cheaters? Integrity of the game and trainer’s purpose maintained / need for another trainer negated and the subject put to rest + lesson learned… Read more »
I am the author of RESHOOT and am selling the game on CD-ROM. You must really be kidding me to change the code and distribute the game for free without even asking or notifying me. The file on offer here is illegal. Please take it offline right now.
I am sure he will remove it, if you really demand this. But, let me ask you why? It contains just enough files to make the trainer work and is not playable without having the original game. It surely can not affect your sales of the game and the autofire function is something everybody was asking for. So, what disadvantage do you have or see with this trainer release? It is ment for those who already bought the game and struggeling with the difficulty – nothing else.
