Hi there,
just tested the Flashtro-Trainers on Rainbow Islands and Parasol Stars. In Parasol Stars, there is an option, with which you can get Miracle as an In-Game Key. You need to collect 3 stars on each island to get to collect extras in the boss room and to have the good ending. With the Parasol Trainer In-Game-Key "Miracle" it gives you the three stars and you can finish the game perfect. In the Rainbow Islands trainer by rob such an In-Game function is not implemented. to be able to complete the game correctly, you have to collect all of the gems in the correct order of colour (from left to right on the gem counter - RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, LIGHT BLUE, DARK BLUE, and MAUVE). This not only awards you the life and Bonus Gem, it also grants you access to a magical secret room. When you reach the end of the level, a silver door appears. -> Maybe Rob can implement an In-Game Key, that sets the pointer, as if one has collected the seven gems in the right order already |

Hi Rob,
thx for your answer. level skip alone is not working. if you haven't collected the gems in the right order on every island, you won't get a big gem after you have defeated the island boss. and without collecting the big gem on each island, you can't finish the game with the GOOD ending. trainer option should be added, when you have the time. one has got to play in invincible to collect the gems in the right order, to see, which counter changes, when you collected them all in the right order. cheers |

Rainbow Islands Player Data Player 1 address is $e330, for data simply add offset (All are word sized) lives - Offset+$6 - Lives subtracted at $11c4a upgrades - Offset+$10 - This uses bits set as follows - 0000 0000 1 Rainbow - 0000 0001 2 Rainbows - 0000 0010 3 Rainbows - 0000 0011 4 Rainbows - 0000 0100 Fast Feet - 0000 1000 Fast Rainbows - 0001 0000 Wings - Mix and match for fast feet, rainbows and mixture of rainbows Diamonds - Offset+$1C - Again Binary - 00000000 00000000 No Diamonds - 00000000 00000001 Red - 00000000 00000010 Orange - etc.... - 00000000 00000000 Setting this bit means diamonds not collected in order (Still working on this) Score - offset+$0 - The score is a long word value (I think) and goes from $e330 to e334 but it is stored as BCD arithmetic Bonuses - offset+$2C - This address is the number of bad guys killed, it is compared to $2D - offset+$2D - while 2c is less than 2d, 2c continues to add up, once it is equal to or more than 2c is cleared and $2a is increased - offset+$2A - this is compared to 2b, if it is equal to or more than 2b, a test occurs on $11e6. This whole routine starts at $12e2c PUTTING 0b inn 11e6 causes invulnerability! $e354 - INVESTIGATE THIS ADDRESS.. HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE BONUS THAT IS GIVEN! Bonus sequence!! There is a repetition of 8 (set in $2b).
